Allow Test Score Thresholds to be amended within the test scores report itself.
At present it is only possible to explore data within the test report in any detail by amending the threshold scores in the whole school setting sections. The test scores report in the original Target Tracker was far more flexible as it allowed you to set thresholds for below, above etc within the report itself - much quicker and much more flexible.

A Context Overview for Classes
On Target Tracker, you could generate a 'class context' sheet which held the information for each pupil in columns: forename, surname, DoB, date of entry, gender, EAL status, FSM status, SEN status...
It would be brilliant to be able to generate this same sheet from within Sonar, and to export it as a PDF, Word or Excel file.

Monthly Formative Reporting
School's would like to track the inputting of data for formative assessment on a Monthly rather than Termly basis. It is interesting for SLT to be able to track when children are achieving objectives and sometimes this can change multiple times over a half term.

Subject Overview Report - Contextual tags
Include SEN as a contextual tag nest to children's names as PP, EAL and FSM already are.

Numerical indicator of progress on Summative Progress Analysis Report (like Target Analysis)
Is there was a way to add the = or - numbers that you see on the target analysis report to the summative progress analysis report?
This would at least show a numerical indicator of progress which would help steps/linear schools?
So a child working below ARE for Year 4 - they would have +2 as gone from 3JA to 3Above. Better than just saying 'expected progress' when in fact she has improved.
I guess one big issue would be the code model the school has (number of codes within ARE)

Report percentages of set targets
Dissapointed to see that there was no way to see the parcentage of children target at the end of summer for different attainment levels. For instance, as we now set targets at the start of the year, I really could do with seeing what percentage of children have been targetted for B,JA,A etc at different cohort levels such as class, year group, key stage etc.

Ages data over time
Schools using the Ages Assessment feature would benefit from their Ages data being available within the Single Pupil Overview report as is Summative and Test Scores data. Or the creation of a new Ages Flight Path report where they can see the Ages data over time.

To organise data by score
On Target Tracker, data could be reorganised by more able to less able rather than just by forename/surname
9 votesThank you for your feedback. This idea has been implemented into the planning of our upcoming summative entry screen in January.

Observations to be downloadable
We would like to have all of our assessment and journals/observations on one platform. It would be really helpful and a way to save money if this was able to be done on the same platform. We are currently able to write journals/observations for EYFS children and have their parents view and comments on these and at the end of the academic year these are downloaded and shared with parents. This is a feature that I think is imperative.

Undo function for accidental data entry
When you have flood filled, particularly formative data, if you have made a mistake it would be useful to be able to 'undo' this and put the assessment back to how it was.

To have CSV uploading option for large number of data like students information
As a growing school, we are still taking admissions; as a result, for Term 3 we had over 30 students join us, and adding them manually is not practical.
Therefore, we request to have import data option2 votes -
Steps Progress
Schools like to be able to quantify how much progress pupils are making not just expected, above and below. This includes the ability to show an overall average for group of children. Target Tracker schools are used to being able to do this so find the current progress reports in Sonar are not sufficiently detailed.

Option for report PDFs in portrait instead of landscape
It would be helpful to have report PDFs in portrait and not just landscape. This could make the length of reports shorter and easier to read.

Test Score ARE settings
Schools can set multiple different thresholds for their test scores, so it can correlate more closely with their summative model. For example, if their summative model has 4 or 5 levels it would be good that the test scores and associated report in ARO also splits the test score data into 4 or 5 respectively. At the moment the test scores is just Below, At or Above. e.g. in a test with range 80-120, schools might state that 80-90 is below, 90-103 is just at, 103-109 securely at and 110+ is above.

Pupil Filter in Pupil Overview Report
Schools often need to exclude specific groups of pupils - for example Nursery Pupils - when analysing attendance. It would be helpful if the Pupil Overview Report could be filtered for just R-Y6. This would allow the Gender, Disadvantaged and SEN comparisons to be used excluding Nursery (or any other any other group schools may want to focus on).
