  2. Had schools where new children have joined them. They have no UPN. They do not need to report data but because no UPN file not created. Can we look at how to mitigate against this situation? Eg manually update children? Remove children from CTF? Make CTF without children with no UPN?

  3. Since the recent update of Sonar, the Switch Schools function is less easy to use. Although users can click on their profile and scroll through the list of schools that they have access to, this is not easy and there is no way to search as there used to be. For large MATs this is a problem - could we have it back please?

  4. Schools like to be able to quantify how much progress pupils are making not just expected, above and below. This includes the ability to show an overall average for group of children. Target Tracker schools are used to being able to do this so find the current progress reports in Sonar are not sufficiently detailed.

  5. Schools would like the ability to view Nursery 1 & 2 children in the EYFS Good Level of Development Tracking report - as they do in OTrack. Currently the only option is Reception

  6. We need a way to filter this report to see data for particular classes at a time, as you can with other reports. Schools with a combination of Mainstream and SEND pupils need this for reporting purposes.

  7. I suggest a really useful addition to Early Years observations would be to be able to link age related expectations suggested by the development matters framework, as this will inform assessment, and will then be able to be exported as evidence.

  8. It would be good to have this as an option during the data entry process for a nursery cohort, it will help to inform judgements in a more straightforward way than the pre-existing options in my opinion. It would also be really good to have this option as a link in observations, so when exported it can be evidenced children are working securely within an age range.

  11. School's would like to track the inputting of data for formative assessment on a Monthly rather than Termly basis. It is interesting for SLT to be able to track when children are achieving objectives and sometimes this can change multiple times over a half term.

  12. We were wondering if sonar can generate any reports around which children haven't met particular formative statements yet, as this would be useful for interventions. For example, any children who were red on a particular formative statement (like adding 3 one digit numbers) would be shown on a report displaying information for all the year group's classes. Then we could run an intervention to plug that gap for those specific children.

  13. As a growing school, we are still taking admissions; as a result, for Term 3 we had over 30 students join us, and adding them manually is not practical.

  14. At the moment the Teacher Comments, Headteacher Comments and Pupil Comments sections are included in the report template by default, even if you choose the basic grid version of the template. It would be helpful to have the option to include or exclude these sections when setting up the report template.

  18. It would be useful to be able to sort/rank progress in reports - this would allow schools to quickly and easily identify which pupils are making the least (or most) progress instead of needing to scroll through a list and pick them out.
    Even better if it were possible to filter for just those making below expected progress.

  19. Option to remove Sig Below and Sig Above from Reports. Some schools do not want to include these children / keep them on a separate report.

    This would also be useful in the Summative Progress Analysis - would give a more accurate measure, as those out of year who haven't made progress (eg. Yr4, moving from 3at to 2at) wouldn't be included as Expected Progress, being still sig below
