  1. With the new Summative Assessment screens you cannot bulk fill a child to be working on a lower band than their current one e.g. Year 6 to a 3At or EM. You could do it in the old screens

  2. On both EYFS and KS1 data we have found that once a single teacher enters their own class info and saves it, it then has to be an administrator that adds the remaining info for the other class. It will not allow another teacher to go in and add their info. Is there an option that can allow this ?

  3. KS1 Summary data Screen. For the KS1 data summary screen it would be really useful just to have TAs on this screen. It is unclear what things are in there at the moment. Depending on what has been entered it can actually show a mixture of Scores and TAs? Fewer columns, clearer headings, just TAs would be great.

  5. A single, downloadable to Excel, report that enables you to view test scores against your summative teacher assessment using data stored in the Subject Overview report.

The suggested workaround is very clunky https://help.junipereducation.org/hc/en-gb/articles/22265670881693-Sonar-Tracker-How-can-I-compare-test-scores-with-teacher-assessment

  6. School would like a Historic snapshot data report where they pick the academic Year and are shown the Below/At/Above figures for Reading, Writing and Maths for a specific Term eg Summer 2 for 2023-24 showing Year 8,7,6,5,4,3. They know they can do this by selecting/de-selecting certain Year Groups in the Age Related Overview but they want a report to intuitively know which Year groups would have been in KS1 & 2 that year

  7. Ethnicity should be an option in summary view so that different groups attainment and progress can be tracked.

Some reports have the option to filter which is good, but this is different. I can also see it is in the characteristic attainment overview.

If there was an option for ethnicity to be added into the summary view of many of the charts then all of the data for different groups would be in one place and could be easily compared to one another.

Currently there is no way to look at progress data for ethnicity and to compare it.

  8. EAL/English proficiency is collected from Arbor and uploaded into Sonar,we would like to see the 4 classifications (Basic, Intermediate, Fluent, none) in Arbor so that we can track progress with reading/writing with changes in levels of English proficiency.

  9. Primary Summative Assessments have recently been updated. Previously, I was able to arrange the students alphabetically by their forename; however, following the new update, this is no longer an option. Adding this feature back really helps and saves time when entering the data.

  10. In the new version of the Primary summative data, you are now unable to see the previous term's level. This now makes it much more time consuming for teachers to update and change the assessment levels. Furthermore there is no clear and easy way to print out the summative levels to have in front of teachers whilst they are doing this.

Moving to Sonar has brought many challenges with things being different to Target Tracker, but one of the selling points to staff was that the interface was more intuitive and we only needed to change data points for the…

  11. Currently the csv export allows us to choose half terms from this academic year and summer 2 from previous year. Can I request for all terms to be included?
This would help us when creating data extracts as our current process requires us to use find and replace if schools have changed their code labels. Also useful for schools to able to choose any previous half terms.

  12. In Sonar Tracker, under Primary Formative, the choice of changing the options when the objectives are clicked. Something along the lines of met and not met, met being green and not met being red.

  13. It would be useful if the 'Flight Path' tracker could include test scores/scaled scores instead of just Above/at/below. This would mean data would be more precise, showing progress of those children, such as SEND, who make smaller jumps - such as moving between the pre key stage standards rather then the end of year expectation (we have assigned a scaled score/test score to each of these). It would allow us to track those vulnerable groups in more detail, showing they are making progress throughout their school journey.

  14. I want teachers and leaders to be able to toggle a formative view so that only KPI “statement groups” (a defined subset of curriculum objectives) are shown,
so that teachers can assess the full curriculum while leaders can quickly see performance and coverage against just the agreed KPIs without rebuilding views each time.

Admins can define one or more KPI/statement groups per subject (e.g. “Reading KPIs”) by selecting from the existing curriculum objectives, without needing Juniper to hard‑code them.

In the formative grid, users can apply a simple filter/toggle (e.g. “Show: All objectives / KPI only”) that instantly hides non‑KPI…

  15. As a school or trust data lead, I want to be able to switch a cohort/report between a “point in time” assessment model and a linear/progress model, so that I can analyse either static judgements at each data drop or how pupils move over time along a defined trajectory.

  16. As a trust leader, I want a multi‑school analytics view that reliably shows key metrics by school, year group, gender and disadvantage, so that I can compare performance and identify support needs across the group.

Charts/tables show aggregated outcomes (attainment, progress, key characteristics) by school and common cohorts.

Same filters as school‑level view where appropriate.

As a trust‑level user, I want to export multi‑school summaries to CSV, so that I can blend them with other trust data sources (perhaps add this last point to export idea).

  17. As a group education lead, I want a way to bring selected pastoral or attitudinal indicators alongside academic and test data, so that I can analyse outcomes in the context of behaviour and wellbeing.

Data model extended user-defined “pastoral indicators” per pupil (e.g. behaviour points, attitude to learning band, wellbeing flags), sourced via manual entry, import or integration.

Pastoral fields available as filters and breakdown dimensions in core analysis reports (e.g. see attainment/progress by attitude to learning band), similar to sisra.

  18. I want to investigate MIS integration options that work in regions where our current sync provider (e.g. Wonde) is unavailable, so that international schools can still benefit from automated pupil and attendance updates.

Technical discovery completed on at least one alternative approach (e.g. direct MIS API, SFTP file drops, alternative integration partner).

Consider constraints for China‑based schools documented (latency, firewalls, data residency).

Recommendation document produced with options, pros/cons, and high‑level effort estimates.

  19. Last‑used export settings are remembered per user or can be saved as an “export preset”.

Presets can be quickly re‑run after each new data drop.

  20. Formative assessments to inform the summative.
Could there be a way the formative assessments are visualised when adding the summative? This ensures the teacher is able to make an informed decision based on the formative data added in. For example if Child A is Just at for most of the formative assessments, seeing it when inputting the summative takes away the guess work or having to flick backwards and forwards. This could be sorted into the core subjects as well so the teacher can look at the specific data they need to make their informed decision. Data can be viewed…
