  1. Options to 1) select R, W, M together 2) separate year groups - as you can in OTrack's 'In Year Attainment Overview'.

    Feedback from school migration meeting - 'why is there no display options button on the Subject Overview? I like to choose the Core subjects and then split into six year groups - this is all in one report -'In Year Attainment'- in OTrack. To do this is Sonar, I would currently have to generate 18 reports! This essential for a small school like ours. The Age Related Overview does not show the 'flight path' of the last 7…

  2. Even though KS1 SATs are no longer mandatory many schools are choosing to enter the data into Sonar and then asking for the facility to export them out to their management systems. A CTF export would be useful.

  3. Please consider extending the available Year Groups on the Summative and Formative Data Entry screens and reports for use by All-Through and Special schools allowing them to use the system for all their year groups. This would be from Reception to Y14.

  4. Ability to enter other test scores and results from other tests throughout the year - e.g. Rising Stars, NGRT, etc.
    Ability to enter book band colours
    Ability to enter assessment more frequently than half termly

  5. School feedback: be able to see previous groups that the pupils were a part of, to form a school profile picture. It only currently shows current groups.

  6. We're a school moving from INSIGHT. One of the things that we find invaluable on INSIGHT is the assessment view of a child, where you can see all the summative assessments of subjects as well as test scores and the % secured to date of formative objectives for each year on one page. It would be great to get this in SONAR as it is a great, easy to glance at history of assessment of pupils throughout the year.

  7. When you have flood filled, particularly formative data, if you have made a mistake it would be useful to be able to 'undo' this and put the assessment back to how it was.

  10. The dropdowns show all year groups apart from Nursery. A private school I am currently training require this to put their baseline numerical values in for the PREST data.

  11. School suggestion to have a table report that gives the current term attainment for all subjects.

  12. Create a report template that will print off all statements that have been achieved in each subject

    Or possibly a report template that showed a few achieved objective from each strand and one target

  16. To be able to print the summative report so that all the areas of learning are along the top columns and the children's names are down the first column. This would allow practitioners to track pupils' GLD more easily.

  17. It would be useful to be able to customise the 'tests' section as we run various standarised tests. For instance we have 2 non statutory standardised tests we use in maths, so just having one Test heading for maths is limiting.

  19. Ability to sort by surname not forename in reports. I am so surprised this functionality is not already there. In order of forename is simply not practical in year groups with 90 children. There is not even the workaround to export to excel as it is PDF only.

  20. The ability to highlight pupils' names to identify them as (for example) PP, EAL, SEN etc.
    This provides a quick and clear way to show how these key groups are distributed across attainment and progress tables. It is particularly effective when used without names for governors' reports.
    We have this function in Target Tracker where names can be in bold, underlined or in italics.
