  1. I suggest a really useful addition to Early Years observations would be to be able to link age related expectations suggested by the development matters framework, as this will inform assessment, and will then be able to be exported as evidence.

  2. It would be good to have this as an option during the data entry process for a nursery cohort, it will help to inform judgements in a more straightforward way than the pre-existing options in my opinion. It would also be really good to have this option as a link in observations, so when exported it can be evidenced children are working securely within an age range.

  5. School's would like to track the inputting of data for formative assessment on a Monthly rather than Termly basis. It is interesting for SLT to be able to track when children are achieving objectives and sometimes this can change multiple times over a half term.

  6. We were wondering if sonar can generate any reports around which children haven't met particular formative statements yet, as this would be useful for interventions. For example, any children who were red on a particular formative statement (like adding 3 one digit numbers) would be shown on a report displaying information for all the year group's classes. Then we could run an intervention to plug that gap for those specific children.

  7. As a growing school, we are still taking admissions; as a result, for Term 3 we had over 30 students join us, and adding them manually is not practical.
Therefore, we request to have import data option

  8. At the moment the Teacher Comments, Headteacher Comments and Pupil Comments sections are included in the report template by default, even if you choose the basic grid version of the template. It would be helpful to have the option to include or exclude these sections when setting up the report template.

  10. The ability to run the report for all 17 areas would be preferrable. This is to allow schools to see areas that need improvements.

  12. It would be useful to be able to sort/rank progress in reports - this would allow schools to quickly and easily identify which pupils are making the least (or most) progress instead of needing to scroll through a list and pick them out.
Even better if it were possible to filter for just those making below expected progress.

  13. Option to remove Sig Below and Sig Above from Reports. Some schools do not want to include these children / keep them on a separate report.

This would also be useful in the Summative Progress Analysis - would give a more accurate measure, as those out of year who haven't made progress (eg. Yr4, moving from 3at to 2at) wouldn't be included as Expected Progress, being still sig below

  15. At present it is only possible to explore data within the test report in any detail by amending the threshold scores in the whole school setting sections. The test scores report in the original Target Tracker was far more flexible as it allowed you to set thresholds for below, above etc within the report itself - much quicker and much more flexible.

  16. As a numerical measures test scores should be able to be sorted in numerical order - currently the only options are by pupil name/year group, not helpful for any form of analysis/overall picture.

  17. Former OTrack customers often ask for a Sonar version of the Attainment and Progress Summary which had 3 subjects and a combined column on one page. This report is a Termly context Group report and for each subject it shows the attainment percentages for Below, At & Above next to the Termly Target (progress) %'s Below, At, Above. The Termly Targets can be changed to Progress from Previous Summer for those who don't use Targets. It is often used for progress meetings and governors.

  18. This is a fantastic report. However it includes those children that are JUST AT - the yellows and includes them in GLD %. Surely it would be more realistic to just include the securely 'Expected'?

  19. REAch2 currently track projections within OTrack (as distinct from targets). They use an extra 'term' to record these projections. They appear on reports such as the in-year attainment overview and allow heads and MAT leaders to see the proportion of children projected to meet age-related expectations.

They also record end of year targets separately in OTrack, separate from projections.

  20. We would like to have all of our assessment and journals/observations on one platform. It would be really helpful and a way to save money if this was able to be done on the same platform. We are currently able to write journals/observations for EYFS children and have their parents view and comments on these and at the end of the academic year these are downloaded and shared with parents. This is a feature that I think is imperative.
