Responsive View - Display current page by default
Responsive View is located under the WEBSITE tab.
It is used to see what a page might look like on different screen sizes depending on the type of device you are using to view the website, such as a mobile phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop. It also includes the orientation, such as mobile portrait or landscape, etc.
The majority of parents use mobile phones, so this feature is great for schools that are creating pages and want to see how a page would look on a mobile device.
Currently, when you go to Responsive View, it will show you what…

A function to show how many times a document has been downloaded and when
This would be extremely useful as it would allow schools to see which documents are being accessed by users and when as well as being an excellent indicator that there is a strong possibility that such as OFSTED are gathering details in preparation for an inspection.

Automatically saving as a draft when logged out for inactivity
When editing an item, such as a page, blog post, or article, after a certain amount of time, the user will be signed out due to inactivity. This is a security feature designed to prevent unauthorised access to pages if a user leaves their device unattended while logged into the website.
However, currently, when a user is signed out of a page, there is no message confirming the action. This absence of notification can lead users to believe they are still logged in, as they can still see the admin bar including the 'LOGOUT' link (top right). Consequently, they may…

Accessibility: Scroll bar to be added for styled tables
Some websites lack the necessary code to include a scroll bar on styled tables, resulting in visitors being unable to scroll across tables with multiple columns.
This often leads to client queries about why they can't view all content within wider tables. We are then having to manually add the code to address such issues which is inefficient.
Therefore, I feel that it would be beneficial to incorporate this functionality by default in all website templates. This ensures accessibility and enables visitors to view the entirety of content within styled tables.
Here is an article that relates to this for…

Table Properties - Colour Options
We have one stylised table which gives a colour header row but not header column. On the insert table (table properties) there is the option to choose no header row, header row, header column or both - this just makes the font bold, but it would be useful to be able to have (preferably choose) a colour for each of these.

Pencil(edit) icon to work as expected
When editing items within any of the Custom forms under WEBSITE > Custom Data, the pencil icon that appears on the right-hand side of the items does not function.
This can be confusing for users, as clicking the icon does not do anything, and it may not be immediately obvious that clicking on the title of the item is necessary to access the page where the item can be edited.
The pencil (edit) icon should redirect users to the page where they can edit the selected item.

Allow important Documents to be above text box on single pages
Parents & Ofsted like the important documents to be clearly visible. On some pages the legal requirements of what needs to be on a school website can be quite wordy. Not allowing attached documents to be moved to the top of the page will lead to people not reading them or Ofsted thinking they are not there.

PAGE PREVIEW
What we want is a proper page content review like so many other pages have.
I've been working on websites again, and this is the first time I've run into this problem. What is the point of having a website if you cannot show people what you offer?
