The ability to publish drafts on set days/times
It would be helpful to allow users to set a publish date for drafts, so that a draft can automatically replace an existing page on a specified date and time.
This would be especially useful for users who prefer not to archive a page/item, but instead want it to be updated/replaced with their new draft at a set date or time.

Deleting items or attachments
Sometimes users delete items such as pages by accident because it's not very clear how to delete attachments that display at the bottom of a page/item.
It might be worth implementing a safeguard, such as prompting users to type 'DELETE PAGE' when attempting to delete a page. This same approach could apply to other items, like 'DELETE CALENDAR' or 'DELETE ARTICLE.'
This would help users better understand what they're deleting and reduce the number of support calls or tickets. Unfortunately, not all users are aware of the Instant Restore option, and many may reach out for assistance in restoring deleted…

Cross-Page Anchor Tag Linking
When you create an anchor tag by clicking the flag icon under the EDIT menu and then link to it using the 'Link to anchor in the text' Link Type on the chain link icon, you can only see and link to anchor tags that were created on the current page.
It would be useful to have the option to select anchor tags from other pages, allowing you to create links that redirect to anchor tags on different pages.

Dynamic calendar view
When a calendar is on month view (or any view) can we add a feature whereby the calendar view starts on the present day so users do not need to scroll all the way to the current day when viewing events. This will enable site visitors to see relevant events only showing from the present day onwards.

Find and replace images and text
Schools would like to be able to find images and or text across their site and remove or replace the content.
This would also be helpful for MATs across all their schools too.Examples:
School - image of a child is used that need to be removed, the CMS can currently remove the images completely but it does not offer a replace function.
MATs - a school name may change - they may want to find every place the school name is presented and replace with the new name.5 votes -

If you are a MAT, when you are on a parent or child site it would be good to have a banner that identifies whether you are editing the parent or child site.

Tables: Ability to select font colour as well as cell background
Currently if you choose a coloured cell background which is dark, you can't change the font colour to a lighter colour, which means the text fades into the background.
User's would like the option to update font colours with cell backgrounds, similar to how Microsoft Word tables work.

Responsive View - Display current page by default
Responsive View is located under the WEBSITE tab.
It is used to see what a page might look like on different screen sizes depending on the type of device you are using to view the website, such as a mobile phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop. It also includes the orientation, such as mobile portrait or landscape, etc.
The majority of parents use mobile phones, so this feature is great for schools that are creating pages and want to see how a page would look on a mobile device.
Currently, when you go to Responsive View, it will show you what…

Automatically saving as a draft when logged out for inactivity
When editing an item, such as a page, blog post, or article, after a certain amount of time, the user will be signed out due to inactivity. This is a security feature designed to prevent unauthorised access to pages if a user leaves their device unattended while logged into the website.
However, currently, when a user is signed out of a page, there is no message confirming the action. This absence of notification can lead users to believe they are still logged in, as they can still see the admin bar including the 'LOGOUT' link (top right). Consequently, they may…

Be able to cropthe time of the day and week view of the calendar as a setting so that useless times aren't shown (e.g. just within school hours rather than midnight-midnight). However, if events happen to be put outside this crop, they are still shown (crop one-off adjusted to show) rather than not displaying.

Accessibility: Scroll bar to be added for styled tables
Some websites lack the necessary code to include a scroll bar on styled tables, resulting in visitors being unable to scroll across tables with multiple columns.
This often leads to client queries about why they can't view all content within wider tables. We are then having to manually add the code to address such issues which is inefficient.
Therefore, I feel that it would be beneficial to incorporate this functionality by default in all website templates. This ensures accessibility and enables visitors to view the entirety of content within styled tables.
Here is an article that relates to this for…
