  1. No Photos on Meet the Senior Leadership Team

    While schools have traditionally used photographs and videos to celebrate learning and engage families, the risk landscape has changed significantly. Advances in AI now mean that publicly available images of pupils can be copied and manipulated, creating safeguarding risks including misuse, blackmail, distress to pupils and families, and reputational harm to schools.

    In light of this, schools are strongly encouraged to review their current practice around publishing pupil-identifiable imagery (e.g. images where faces or identifying details are visible) on websites and social media.

  2. Ability to use photostacks

    It would be great to have the ability to display a photo album as a photo stack. It could add visual interest and some dimension to the pages. Maybe it would also be possible to use such a feature when adding news stories so that a number of photos from an event, for example, could be displayed alongside the story.

  3. Compare before/after photos with a slider

    When showing 2 published photos on the website (for comparison), be able to drag a slider across to see change from before to after picture.

  4. The ability to rename slideshow folders to match the page name, instead of a number.

    When adding images for a slideshow, you currently have to upload them into a numbered folder. It would be great if the folder could reflect the page name instead as this would be really useful, in helping to easily identify the page a folder relates to.

  6. Tagging photos for GDPR identification

    Can the site allow for the school to apply a reference number to photos so that should a pupil withdraw consent, the school can use the identifier to take down the photo(s) of that child? Rather than relying on local knowledge to identify a pupil.
