Venn Report - show assessments of pupils 'outside of diagram'
Currently pupils who are 'outside of the diagram' ie below the judgement chosen in all three subjects currently show as blank. If at least one of the subjects is at or above the judgement chosen, all assessments show, even if below year group. It would be really helpful if assessments showed for all children as without this for consistency. Their data has to be found somewhere else and there is not currently a suitable R/W/M printable view of this.
1 voteA new version of the Venn report which incorporates this feedback is currently under review and in planning.

When I run the subject overview report, it would be better if next to their names it showed if they are SEND.

Summative data to show progress for our SEND children working on the Sandwell Skills ladders which are before children can access the NC
We have some children working on the Sandwell skills ladders, which come before the National Curriculum objectives. Previously, these were displayed as P Levels and helped track the children's progress. At the moment, there is just the Engagement model, which could be broken down further to be like the skills ladders EM Building concepts, EM Level 1, EM Level 2 and EM Level 3.
I would really appreciate it if we could have these options please, because oherwise we would have no way to record this. Thankyou so much!!2 votes -
Indicate that an observation exists from the assessment screen.
When looking through assessments, indicate that there are observations logged against that objective.
Similar to how you hover over the clock to show previous assessments perhaps?
When checking for completeness of evidence for a section of learning, the ability to see this and quickly upload a new observation from this page would be a fantastic time saver.1 vote -
CTF import
Accept and import files which begin with the school's DfE number regardless of what the destination chosen is.
When a CTF is created, a destination is chosen; either a school, the LA or the NAA (for statutory returns). Users regularly upload these files to Sonar not understanding that with a filename like 0010115_CTF001LLLL they will not be processed. This leads to frustration for the customer and time lost waiting for a file to import that never will and contacting the support team for assistance. If the destination didn't matter, more files would import first time.

Sonar School Preference for Users with Swap Schools feature
This is a feature request for users with swap school access to be able to select their default school eg. if they have access to an Infant and a Junior school their default login could be for the Junior. It could work like the preference settings of year group and class that they can do on an individual school.

Be able to have cells colour coded like summative and then be able to sort test scores in ascending order
It would be useful for the data entry screen in the test scores area to be colour coded according the school ARE settings. This would give a clear snapshot of pupil data.

attendance
It would be useful to see a child's attendance record for their time in primary school as it was in Target Tracker. That is, each child in their year/class group with a percentage figure for each year. We could then filter below 90%.
It would also be useful to be able to filter attendance by ethnicity and other groups. In Sonar, you can't see the names of who is in the SEN/EAL/disadvantaged group.1 vote -
filter by ethnicity
To filter by ethnicity
2 votesSchools can now filter by ethnicity on the following new reports in Sonar:
- EYFS/Primary Characteristic Attainment Overview
- EYFS Good Level of Development Tracking
- Primary Pupil Progress Meeting
- Primary Flight Path
- Primary Triangulation of Data Analysis
Going forward, all original reports in Sonar will eventually be replaced with this new filter format to include ethnicity.

Order of Student Names in Progress Report
In the 'Primary Formative Progress Analysis' Report, the order of names is by first name. However, the rest of the time (e.g. in the Summative) they are by surname. This means it is tricky when going from one to the other. Please could the be in the same order, or that there is the option to change the setting for this?

Use highlighted objectives to make TAF judgements
TT allowed users to display highlighted objectives ordered by the relevant TAF standard, rather than the year group/band. This allowed teachers to spot gaps and enter judgements. This would be useful for KS1, KS2 and for EYFS ELG assessment.

Order Summative Assessment by attainment
When entering summative assessment data, currently you can only order by names or yeargroups.
It is incredibly useful to order the children by their attainment (a bit like ordering the class based on their steps in the old TT).
This is particularly useful for a class/year group with a high level of attainment variance, especially for a subject like writing when we might be moderating and assessing across a year group.
It allows you to look at children of a similar level of attainement together as you are assessing far more easily, and this is particularly powerful when we are…
9 votesThank you for your feedback. Sorting summative entry columns per subject by attainment is now being implemented into the planning of our summative entry screen re-build. This is scheduled for release in January.
