The ability to order students by their forename on Primary formative assessments when adding in their marks
Primary Summative Assessments have recently been updated. Previously, I was able to arrange the students alphabetically by their forename; however, following the new update, this is no longer an option. Adding this feature back really helps and saves time when entering the data.

Flight Path Scores
It would be useful if the 'Flight Path' tracker could include test scores/scaled scores instead of just Above/at/below. This would mean data would be more precise, showing progress of those children, such as SEND, who make smaller jumps - such as moving between the pre key stage standards rather then the end of year expectation (we have assigned a scaled score/test score to each of these). It would allow us to track those vulnerable groups in more detail, showing they are making progress throughout their school journey.

In the summative assessments there should be a way to download the assessments to an excel or Google sheets so that teachers can print out.
The summative assessments page should have a way to download to Excel. Currently - to be able to export any information about children you either need to do it one child at a time throught he single pupil overview (although often the PDF function doesnt work properly and shows 'data loading' on the download), or you have to manually type information from the SONAR tracker web page into another document. This feels like a waste of time and resources.
Downloading to excel or integrating with Google docs is important to stop teachers and leaders wasting their time.

Make a mobile friendly version to upload observations
A mobile interface to upload observations would be really beneficial.
(I'm in SEND School, all staff have a mobile device to capture evidence during the day).3 votesHello,
Thank you for taking the time to feedback here.
As part of the Awards & Activities module (currently free as part of your Parent Engagement bundle), you are able to upload more informal observations using the Juniper Education app. As part of this module, those observations can be tagged to a subject if you wish them to be and photos/comments are then sent to parents. Parents can view these observations in the app. The Awards & Activities module leans more towards observing key skills, behaviours and celebrating efforts and success.
Specifically from Sonar, you can currently use an ipad to make more academic observations by tagging the learning objectives and sending these home to the app for parents.
We do have some upcoming product demonstrations for the Observations module (Sonar) and Awards & Activities. The first one today is 3:45pm - 4:30pm if you wish to come along to…

Targets Summary Report
For schools that set end of year targets above pupils' current summative judgement, it would be useful to have a report showing this.
For example 83% of Year 2 are targeted to achieve ARE by the end of Summer 2 as opposed to just seeing individual targets? This was something that Target Tracker did previously and is helpful in ensuring that targets set on Sonar align with targets identified in school improvement plans.46 votes -
KPI / statement‑group filter within formative curriculum
I want teachers and leaders to be able to toggle a formative view so that only KPI “statement groups” (a defined subset of curriculum objectives) are shown,
so that teachers can assess the full curriculum while leaders can quickly see performance and coverage against just the agreed KPIs without rebuilding views each time.Admins can define one or more KPI/statement groups per subject (e.g. “Reading KPIs”) by selecting from the existing curriculum objectives, without needing Juniper to hard‑code them.
In the formative grid, users can apply a simple filter/toggle (e.g. “Show: All objectives / KPI only”) that instantly hides non‑KPI…

Toggle between ‘point in time’ and linear models
As a school or trust data lead, I want to be able to switch a cohort/report between a “point in time” assessment model and a linear/progress model, so that I can analyse either static judgements at each data drop or how pupils move over time along a defined trajectory.

Multi‑school (trust) analytics robustness
As a trust leader, I want a multi‑school analytics view that reliably shows key metrics by school, year group, gender and disadvantage, so that I can compare performance and identify support needs across the group.
Charts/tables show aggregated outcomes (attainment, progress, key characteristics) by school and common cohorts.
Same filters as school‑level view where appropriate.
As a trust‑level user, I want to export multi‑school summaries to CSV, so that I can blend them with other trust data sources (perhaps add this last point to export idea).

Pastoral / attitudinal data support - Whole‑child data model
As a group education lead, I want a way to bring selected pastoral or attitudinal indicators alongside academic and test data, so that I can analyse outcomes in the context of behaviour and wellbeing.
Data model extended user-defined “pastoral indicators” per pupil (e.g. behaviour points, attitude to learning band, wellbeing flags), sourced via manual entry, import or integration.
Pastoral fields available as filters and breakdown dimensions in core analysis reports (e.g. see attainment/progress by attitude to learning band), similar to sisra.

Global‑compatible MIS data sync
I want to investigate MIS integration options that work in regions where our current sync provider (e.g. Wonde) is unavailable, so that international schools can still benefit from automated pupil and attendance updates.
Technical discovery completed on at least one alternative approach (e.g. direct MIS API, SFTP file drops, alternative integration partner).
Consider constraints for China‑based schools documented (latency, firewalls, data residency).
Recommendation document produced with options, pros/cons, and high‑level effort estimates.

As a trust‑level analyst, I want to schedule or easily repeat the same CSV export configuration, so that I can refresh my external dashboard
Last‑used export settings are remembered per user or can be saved as an “export preset”.
Presets can be quickly re‑run after each new data drop.

Formative and Summative data visualised on the same page.
Formative assessments to inform the summative.
Could there be a way the formative assessments are visualised when adding the summative? This ensures the teacher is able to make an informed decision based on the formative data added in. For example if Child A is Just at for most of the formative assessments, seeing it when inputting the summative takes away the guess work or having to flick backwards and forwards. This could be sorted into the core subjects as well so the teacher can look at the specific data they need to make their informed decision. Data can be viewed…1 vote -
Clicking pupil names in reports should open in a new tab as it isnt possible to go back to the report current;ly.
Currently clicking pupil names in a report goes to a report for that child, which is great. However it isnt possible to go back to the report you were on previously.
This means that currently you have to restart the report every time you click a child's name.
If clicking the child name opened up a personal report for them in a new tab, this would save a lot of time and effort.

EYFS Good Level of Development Tracking
The report includes those that are WT (yellows) as at ARE. This is extremely confusing for schools viewing the report. I understand that fits with the rest of the system and reports (we also have issues throughout the system with this) but some areas you can toggle to see further breakdown or not include them. I find this report misleading.

Parent report
We've lost the Individual Assessment Summary report feature from TT that we use for interim reports. The current parent report is not appropriate for us to use as you can't edit the title in the formatting stage, can't add the school logo and the objectives statements are not pulled through. Teachers will have to manually input information this year which is frustrating. Can a similar Individual Assessment Summary report be made available?

reports
Would it be possible to create a single overarching report to support our pupil progress meetings? Ideally, this report would bring together the following key elements:
Primary Age-Related Overview (with summary)
Primary VENN
Primary Age-Related Progress
Test Scores (including MTC Check and Phonics Screening Check)
Pupil Flight Path
I’ve copied and pasted an example into a document to illustrate what I mean. Please let me know if this is feasible or if you'd like to discuss further.3 votes
