  2. Currently the character limit for an objective to be able to pull through to parent reports is 140. If the objective is above this limit then that objective will not appear on reports. Please can the character limit be increased so that there are more objectives that can be included in reports, not just the shorter ones.

  3. Options to 1) select R, W, M together 2) separate year groups - as you can in OTrack's 'In Year Attainment Overview'.

Feedback from school migration meeting - 'why is there no display options button on the Subject Overview? I like to choose the Core subjects and then split into six year groups - this is all in one report -'In Year Attainment'- in OTrack. To do this is Sonar, I would currently have to generate 18 reports! This essential for a small school like ours. The Age Related Overview does not show the 'flight path' of the last 7…

  4. It would be useful to be able to select an individual child when looking at reports. This would be especially helpful for EYFS settings who cannot use the Single Pupil Overview. Although this can be done by creating a group with a single child in, this isn't practical for large numbers of pupils.

  5. It would be helpful if the main admin of the school could add/edit their own school tests to 'other curriculum subjects'. This would allow schools to add, remove and reorder as required without having to email.

  6. The Pupil Flight Path in OTrack could be used to see/export data for a single child showing the assessments for their whole time in school on one report. It was useful to SENCO's and as a Parents Evening Report. It had the subject options of either Reading, Writing & Maths, Core Subjects, Foundation Subjects, Other Curriculum Subjects or All Subjects

  7. Accept and import files which begin with the school's DfE number regardless of what the destination chosen is.

When a CTF is created, a destination is chosen; either a school, the LA or the NAA (for statutory returns). Users regularly upload these files to Sonar not understanding that with a filename like 0010115_CTF001LLLL they will not be processed. This leads to frustration for the customer and time lost waiting for a file to import that never will and contacting the support team for assistance. If the destination didn't matter, more files would import first time.

  9. It would be helpful to have report PDFs in portrait and not just landscape. This could make the length of reports shorter and easier to read.

  10. Would be great if the subject overview would show end of previous year (Summer) in the % summary at the bottom. It shows term on term which is really useful but this time of year you need to see summer comparison. It lets you display summer at pupil level but does not show summer % at bottom.

  11. A way to share with Governors R/W/M attainment of all year groups, for boys. girls, PP, SEN etc in a concise report.

Currently this means creating the ARO Report for a year group with the summary and export to pdf = 3 pages. Filter for another year group and export = 3 pages. This results in an 18 page report with EYFS still to do. It would also be helpful if we could choose which groups to include in the summary and be able to separate year groups once viewing the summary version of the report. Being able to create…

  12. Schools often need to exclude specific groups of pupils - for example Nursery Pupils - when analysing attendance. It would be helpful if the Pupil Overview Report could be filtered for just R-Y6. This would allow the Gender, Disadvantaged and SEN comparisons to be used excluding Nursery (or any other any other group schools may want to focus on).

  18. Schools would like to be able to be able to change the date of an observation as they don't always get to type up the observations and add photos at the time, or on the same day they see them.

  20. Would it be possible to create a single overarching report to support our pupil progress meetings? Ideally, this report would bring together the following key elements:

    Primary Age-Related Overview (with summary)
    Primary VENN
    Primary Age-Related Progress
Test Scores (including MTC Check and Phonics Screening Check)
    Pupil Flight Path
I’ve copied and pasted an example into a document to illustrate what I mean. Please let me know if this is feasible or if you'd like to discuss further.
