  1. Options to 1) select R, W, M together 2) separate year groups - as you can in OTrack's 'In Year Attainment Overview'.

Feedback from school migration meeting - 'why is there no display options button on the Subject Overview? I like to choose the Core subjects and then split into six year groups - this is all in one report -'In Year Attainment'- in OTrack. To do this is Sonar, I would currently have to generate 18 reports! This essential for a small school like ours. The Age Related Overview does not show the 'flight path' of the last 7…

  2. Even though KS1 SATs are no longer mandatory many schools are choosing to enter the data into Sonar and then asking for the facility to export them out to their management systems. A CTF export would be useful.

  3. The end of Key Stage report shows outcomes and standardised scores in bands. The Key Stage data screen shows outcomes and raw test scores.
We can't see precise standardised scores for pupils anywhere. As schools will use this to compare achievement and measure progress, it is important to know.
Could this be added into Sonar - either in the report or the entry screen?

  5. When school creates their own Group they would like to be able to run a report and not only filter for the group as they can currently but to exclude that group from the rest of the children. This can be done in OTrack

  6. It would be useful to be able to select an individual child when looking at reports. This would be especially helpful for EYFS settings who cannot use the Single Pupil Overview. Although this can be done by creating a group with a single child in, this isn't practical for large numbers of pupils.

  7. What is it?

The ability to view test outcomes when entering summative judgements for students. Potentially for summative judgements to be suggested from the test outcomes and then for teachers to be able to change this judgement where necessary

  8. Contextual Grid to view information about pupils like we could in Target Tracker.
Requested by customer who found this invaluable daily for finding information about pupils in one place which could be exported and printed.

  9. Customers have suggested it would be helpful to be able to copy targets from one term to the next.
If these are entered into the wrong term, currently a school has to manually do them all over again.

  10. Ability to track progress of pupils assessed outside of their year group (sig below). For example, if a Y5 pupil is assessed as 3At > 3B this should be interpreted as them having made less than the expected progress. Currently, all progress reports would consider these children as having made expected progress and schools want to be able to track small progress steps of these pupils better.

  11. To be able to choose what to regard as 'At'. Schools that use our default code model where Just At and At are treated as At in this report would find it useful to be able to show securely at and above only, either as a comparison or instead of including Just At.

The Venn Report allows the metric to be changed so something similar here would be useful.

  14. School suggestion: Good attendance = 90%. Very good attendance = 95%. Being able to view pupils between this margin would be useful e.g. which pupils are sitting at 94.9? Currently the pupil list will populate pupils sitting within the 5% with no information on how close they are to either 90% or 95% unless you view each pupil profile individually.

  16. Be able to enter ARE for tests for bands 8 and 9. Can currently enter range but no ARE. Entering ARE would enable analysis of these year groups.

  18. At the moment the Teacher Comments, Headteacher Comments and Pupil Comments sections are included in the report template by default, even if you choose the basic grid version of the template. It would be helpful to have the option to include or exclude these sections when setting up the report template.

  19. Former OTrack customers often ask for a Sonar version of the Attainment and Progress Summary which had 3 subjects and a combined column on one page. This report is a Termly context Group report and for each subject it shows the attainment percentages for Below, At & Above next to the Termly Target (progress) %'s Below, At, Above. The Termly Targets can be changed to Progress from Previous Summer for those who don't use Targets. It is often used for progress meetings and governors.

  20. It would be helpful if a school could print multiple subjects at a time instead of having to generate a report for each subject.
Helen from Phoenix Primary has requested this and I can see the advantages of this for time saving within school.
