Single Pupil Overview
Single Pupil Overview should show all subjects, not just 3 of these. With 3 subjects that isn't even the core subjects (Science is still a core subject).
It would also be great if it showed some formative statements/objectives that the child has achieved and some they are working towards.
Lastly, being able to print a class worth of these at a time, not 1 child's report only. - Workload!

Parent report
We've lost the Individual Assessment Summary report feature from TT that we use for interim reports. The current parent report is not appropriate for us to use as you can't edit the title in the formatting stage, can't add the school logo and the objectives statements are not pulled through. Teachers will have to manually input information this year which is frustrating. Can a similar Individual Assessment Summary report be made available?

Targets Summary Report
For schools that set end of year targets above pupils' current summative judgement, it would be useful to have a report showing this.
For example 83% of Year 2 are targeted to achieve ARE by the end of Summer 2 as opposed to just seeing individual targets? This was something that Target Tracker did previously and is helpful in ensuring that targets set on Sonar align with targets identified in school improvement plans.26 votes -
Ability to include or exclude teacher, headteacher and pupil comments from the parent report template
At the moment the Teacher Comments, Headteacher Comments and Pupil Comments sections are included in the report template by default, even if you choose the basic grid version of the template. It would be helpful to have the option to include or exclude these sections when setting up the report template.

GLD report to Include Nursery
Schools would like the ability to view Nursery 1 & 2 children in the EYFS Good Level of Development Tracking report - as they do in OTrack. Currently the only option is Reception

GLD tracking report improvement
The ability to run the report for all 17 areas would be preferrable. This is to allow schools to see areas that need improvements.

Set targets for next academic year
Can't currently set targets into next academic year - this would be useful for teachers leaving and handing over into the new year.

CTF import
Accept and import files which begin with the school's DfE number regardless of what the destination chosen is.
When a CTF is created, a destination is chosen; either a school, the LA or the NAA (for statutory returns). Users regularly upload these files to Sonar not understanding that with a filename like 0010115_CTF001LLLL they will not be processed. This leads to frustration for the customer and time lost waiting for a file to import that never will and contacting the support team for assistance. If the destination didn't matter, more files would import first time.

Basic Characteristics overview
Would love to be able to produce a report that is the as the same Basic Characteristics on Target Tracker - one page. This is so useful for Governor Meetings.

Bring end of year judgements over as baseline judgement for following year
As this is a point in time tracker, it would be good if judgements carried over to the beginning of the year from the end of the previous year. An expected child remains expected so the code could carry over. I now have all year groups below expectations and teachers would have to re-enter data. This work load could be reduced by bringing grades over as a baseline.

Use highlighted objectives to make TAF judgements
TT allowed users to display highlighted objectives ordered by the relevant TAF standard, rather than the year group/band. This allowed teachers to spot gaps and enter judgements. This would be useful for KS1, KS2 and for EYFS ELG assessment.

Venn Diagram as it used to be
The Venn diagram report is dreadful. It is over too many pages, the names over lap and it doesnt print well. the previous report on O'Track was excellent. i dont understand why you have changed a report that was so good. Tracking those pupil who are at in all subjects is critical. I'm so disappointed in the whole Sonar system, but this report id just dreadful!

Bring back the Prior Attainment Mapping Grid
This was the main report that I used - it is no longer available so I am considering looking for an alternative tracking system.

CTF Export
Had schools where new children have joined them. They have no UPN. They do not need to report data but because no UPN file not created. Can we look at how to mitigate against this situation? Eg manually update children? Remove children from CTF? Make CTF without children with no UPN?

Order Summative Assessment by attainment
When entering summative assessment data, currently you can only order by names or yeargroups.
It is incredibly useful to order the children by their attainment (a bit like ordering the class based on their steps in the old TT).
This is particularly useful for a class/year group with a high level of attainment variance, especially for a subject like writing when we might be moderating and assessing across a year group.
It allows you to look at children of a similar level of attainement together as you are assessing far more easily, and this is particularly powerful when we are…

Switch Schools function
Since the recent update of Sonar, the Switch Schools function is less easy to use. Although users can click on their profile and scroll through the list of schools that they have access to, this is not easy and there is no way to search as there used to be. For large MATs this is a problem - could we have it back please?
