Bring end of year judgements over as baseline judgement for following year
As this is a point in time tracker, it would be good if judgements carried over to the beginning of the year from the end of the previous year. An expected child remains expected so the code could carry over. I now have all year groups below expectations and teachers would have to re-enter data. This work load could be reduced by bringing grades over as a baseline.

Statutory Analysis
End of Key Stage reports allow schools to see overall numbers and percentages, pupils' names and to view in Summary mode. There is no equivalent report for Phonics or MTC which schools need.
Although the Analysis tab gives headline data, no detail such as pupils names or context can be seen.11 votesThis information is now available in our new Flight Path report.

Pupil summary in 'School' tab
Ability to multi-select year groups on the pupil summary box in 'School' tab. For example, schools want to see contextual statistics and attendance % for two year groups at once where they have mixed classes or perhaps a whole Key Stage.

Should be able to amend user email addresses / resend invitation email
Being able to edit the address directly would save time. Also having the option to resend the invitation email rather than asking the user to go through the 'forgot password' route.

Multiplication check
It would be helpful to have the ability to upload our Year 4 Multiplication data and get analysis reports with this.
9 votesWe are excited to announce a new feature: the ability to import or manually enter your Multiplication Tables Check data. Initially, this will serve as a data collection tool. Stay tuned for new reports coming later in July, which will allow you to analyse all your statutory data comprehensively.
You can find the new MTC data entry page with your other Statutory Assessment pages in Assess, or upload your data using the ‘Send a file to Sonar’ tool in the School menu.
For further information, please see the support article below.

Give an indication of whether a CTF uploaded is successful or not
Schools often leave the import process not knowing whether this was successful and have no indication that it wasn't, leaving them to call us later frustrated as they feel they have already imported it and weren't made aware of an issue.
9 votesAs part of JoinUp, all CTF imports/exports are now handled via Juniper MIS, which indicates whether or not the import has been successful or not.

Data Entry Check Report
As a senior leader I would like a report that tells me which staff have yet to complete their assessments for the term. This would need to take into account pre-filled Effective Assessment entries.

Assessment complete
The effective assessment function is great for saving workload but does not give school leaders an indication that a teachers' assessment has been completed.
A option to confirm all judgements are finalised for the term (similar perhaps to the TT PITA function) or even just a tick box to say it is done could be a really useful tool to save leaders time checking with staff.8 votesThe Summative Data Check report in Sonar now provides this information and in Sonar Multi-School at trust level.

Could a filter/toggle be added to the Statutory dashboard to enable us to look at previous years outcomes, and potentially view data from previous years alongside this years etc- to enable us to see (hopefully) progression in outcomes over time.

Phonics Reporting Updates
After speaking with many schools we have identified that the Phonics reporting features can be expanded to help schools understand pupils strengths and weaknesses.

Create Data Return CTF of Statutory Assessments from Sonar
As data is typically entered directly into Sonar, it would be useful if schools could produce their Data Return for their LA for EYFS and Phonics / PAG for KS2 from Sonar as well as the CTF for their MIS. Both options were available in Target Tracker and schools appreciated the simplicity of producing this export at what is a very busy time of year.

Ability to print assessment and test score sheets
It would be extremely helpful to be able to print the assessment and test score data. as PDFs or to download them into Excels so the data can be edited and shared more easily.
3 votesPupil Data Export Wizard located in the School section of Sonar allows users to export assessment data and test scores within the default subjects to CSV for editing and data sharing.
