  2. We would like to be able to see how many people are clicking on the various links within the newsletters we send to parents. This way we can track which content is of interest to them.

  3. A typical multi-user system workflow may include multiple users with the same role(s) being able to work on the same content - which (for a website) may include a webpage with simple text or image anchored links to a document (e.g. PDF) that has been previously uploaded into the file storage area of the Website.
Currently it appears that non-Admin users can only "see" their own personal "File Manager" storage area - so any content that they pre-upload and link to, is only stored in their personal area; someone else who may need to make certain changes will not be…

  4. Provide functionality that allows you to build segmented newsletters. So, you write one newsletter containing information for each year group, you tag the information (either with Year group, Key Stage, Whole School for example) and then it automatically sends the relevant segment in the newsletter to parents depending on the data tag.

  5. Product the ability to have an interactive visitors book where visitors can provide feedback and the school must approve the posts before they show on the websites.

  6. When the system sends some emails automatically, we would like to be able to customise the wording. Are you able to offer the ability for schools to change the email templates?

  8. We would like to be able to tag calendar events so they appear on certain pages similar to how news articles do. This way we don't have to add events as news articles to allow us to add extra content at the bottom of the page.

  9. What we want is a proper page content review like so many other pages have.

I've been working on websites again, and this is the first time I've run into this problem. What is the point of having a website if you cannot show people what you offer?

  10. It would save a lot of time for the administrator and help to keep a slide show 'fresh' by being able to choose to re-use previous images without having to bring them back from deletion.

  12. In the past we have designed and developed row builder function for our websites. This was done to provide more flexibility when building internal pages.

Since doing so it we have shown it to large schools and trusts and they have really bought into the function and it has actually helped us win business.

As it stands right now we do it in front end dev. It would be better that it is a CMS function.

  13. Especially when adding a large amount of documents, to have them in 2 or 3 columns rather than one great list. Or be able to link documents to text so they can be added to a table.

  14. We currently have a course booking blocking tool built by front end dev for St Peters School in Bournemouth which Northgate High have also purchased.

The idea being that schools can list all of the courses on the website and while a student applies they can choose their course and if it clashes with another it will block out the other or if they pick one which is a dual subject it automatically selects both for them.

On top of this, once they have applied, the following year on GCSE results day the school sends out an email to all…

  16. As our comms tools use different priorities and have no uniformity, schools find it hard to distinguish what contact is going to pull into where without having to cross reference their data in SIMS etc which is very time consuming. Being able to see this in the overview will stop the need to check two systems, this will also allow us at primarysite to see quickly their contacts priorities to help with first time resolution and provide the correct information first time without a job needing to be raised for tech to check insomnia.

  18. School have requested that when an item is added onto the school calendar for example school holidays, if one event could show rather than an event for every day to make the list view smaller to allow parents to print this page from the website.

  19. Users can add as much content to a single page as they want to. This can result in the page becoming extremely slow, unable to load etc ? Is there something we can put in place to handle this better?

  20. Currently a user can save a draft of a page, however then no other user can edit this page without destroying the other users draft. Many teachers share class pages or home learning areas and need to update these at different times. Often users want to create / improve content over a sustained period of time whilst still updating the page day to day
