Schools often like to send a report showing all objectives achieved (and those not yet achieved) to parents as part of the end of term parent consultation. The Single Pupil Overview contains this information but it is time consuming to produce for all children for all strands in all subjects.

We can filter by date joined, for schools with high mobility, they also need a filter for date left

The ability to exclude leavers would be useful when running reports in the Autumn Term for (eg) last year's Year 6 who have now left, adapting the filter to include leavers will include pupils who have left mid year.
What we really need to see is reports that includes pupils who completed the year.

This was available in OTrack and would look just like the end of Reception report in Sonar - but summative data not ELG data.

The Subject Overview allows you to compare term by term, Summative Judgements, Test Scores or Ages. It would be really useful to be able to compare this year on year - perhaps a Reading Age test that is completed once a year.

It is very easy to bulk fill or delete data in the entry screens. A school tells me that one of their staff deleted a whole class' summative data in a subject for another teacher which didn't go down well! Target Tracker gives a warning before allowing you to do this - could this be built into Sonar too?

When displaying the report with names added, the pupils' names appear twice - one in the 'Total' column in the 'From' section and once in the relevant cell in the 'To' section. This makes each row much deeper than it needs to be and less easy to view. It would be helpful to have an option to hide names to condense this report.

This report would be more useful if we were able to quickly and easily switch to another pupil without re-setting report. It is time consuming currently.
It would also be useful to be able to remove columns - for example if a school isn't using formative assessment - and to have an indication of progress. This would make it much more useful when sharing with parents.

The ability to be able to see Strands in Formative reports is really important too. Teachers and Subject Leaders need to know which areas of a subject need to be focused on to improve overall attainment.
The option to see this in Summary Mode is also useful.
Target Tracker did this well in the Statement Progress Summary report
