Edit ARE settings in the EYFS summative area in Sonar.
Schools should be able to edit the ARE headers in EYFS the same way the can in the primary area.
This will allow them to see reports, such as EYFS age related overview that directly correlate to the summative entry headers.4 votes -
Single Pupil Overview
Single Pupil Overview should show all subjects, not just 3 of these. With 3 subjects that isn't even the core subjects (Science is still a core subject).
It would also be great if it showed some formative statements/objectives that the child has achieved and some they are working towards.
Lastly, being able to print a class worth of these at a time, not 1 child's report only. - Workload!

Pupil Flight Path report
The Pupil Flight Path in OTrack could be used to see/export data for a single child showing the assessments for their whole time in school on one report. It was useful to SENCO's and as a Parents Evening Report. It had the subject options of either Reading, Writing & Maths, Core Subjects, Foundation Subjects, Other Curriculum Subjects or All Subjects

Statutory Data to Parent Reports
Some schools have mentioned that the parent reports would benefit from pulling across statutory data e.g. Reception reports being able to display their ELG data to report to parents.

Targets Summary Report
For schools that set end of year targets above pupils' current summative judgement, it would be useful to have a report showing this.
For example 83% of Year 2 are targeted to achieve ARE by the end of Summer 2 as opposed to just seeing individual targets? This was something that Target Tracker did previously and is helpful in ensuring that targets set on Sonar align with targets identified in school improvement plans.45 votes -
Parent report
We've lost the Individual Assessment Summary report feature from TT that we use for interim reports. The current parent report is not appropriate for us to use as you can't edit the title in the formatting stage, can't add the school logo and the objectives statements are not pulled through. Teachers will have to manually input information this year which is frustrating. Can a similar Individual Assessment Summary report be made available?

reports
Would it be possible to create a single overarching report to support our pupil progress meetings? Ideally, this report would bring together the following key elements:
Primary Age-Related Overview (with summary)
Primary VENN
Primary Age-Related Progress
Test Scores (including MTC Check and Phonics Screening Check)
Pupil Flight Path
I’ve copied and pasted an example into a document to illustrate what I mean. Please let me know if this is feasible or if you'd like to discuss further.3 votes -
Change the date of an Observation
Schools would like to be able to be able to change the date of an observation as they don't always get to type up the observations and add photos at the time, or on the same day they see them.

Re-order Formative Subjects
Schools would like to be able to re-order their Formative Subjects to improve usability and consistency for staff. A content Editor like the one OTrack had would be ideal to allow schools to manage their own Formative content.

Ability to include or exclude teacher, headteacher and pupil comments from the parent report template
At the moment the Teacher Comments, Headteacher Comments and Pupil Comments sections are included in the report template by default, even if you choose the basic grid version of the template. It would be helpful to have the option to include or exclude these sections when setting up the report template.

Make a mobile friendly version to upload observations
A mobile interface to upload observations would be really beneficial.
(I'm in SEND School, all staff have a mobile device to capture evidence during the day).2 votes -

GLD tracking report improvement
The ability to run the report for all 17 areas would be preferrable. This is to allow schools to see areas that need improvements.

EYFS Age Related Overview Report - Ability to see % on track for all aspects in each Area
EYFS Age Related Overview Report - Ability to see % on track for all aspects in each Area
Currently by choosing all aspects in Communications Language;
Listening, Attention and Understanding along with Speaking and selecting combined, we can see the % of pupils on track in all aspects within the Area.
As EYFS leads often wish to report the % on track in each Area it would be great if this report (or one similar to the GLD report - with all aspects in) showed this either as an extra row / column or had the option to view.

Ref on reports to include name of created group
Currently this just says 'Group' so teachers have to add this to the report, remembering what group was filtered for. Would be more useful if names of group was referenced.

Filter tagged objectives
I would like the option to filter by tagged objectives and be able to look exclusively at the Early Learning Goals. It is a right rigamarole in having to look up every observation to see if an early learning goal has been met, by who, when ect and then have to try and keep track of this.

Clicking pupil names in reports should open in a new tab as it isnt possible to go back to the report current;ly.
Currently clicking pupil names in a report goes to a report for that child, which is great. However it isnt possible to go back to the report you were on previously.
This means that currently you have to restart the report every time you click a child's name.
If clicking the child name opened up a personal report for them in a new tab, this would save a lot of time and effort.

Clicking a pupil name in a report should open in a new tab by default to save having to restart the report every time..
Clicking a pupil name in a report should open in a new tab by default, rather than take over the open tab. It isnt possible to go back to the previous report using the back page function so the report is lost and you need to start again.
