statutory report for parents
A report that can be generated alongside the parent report to send out with statutory data on for individual children.
It would be useful if the report included their results and national averages for that year.25 votes -
Basic Characteristics overview
Would love to be able to produce a report that is the as the same Basic Characteristics on Target Tracker - one page. This is so useful for Governor Meetings.

Better reports to track progress through Test Scores
The ability to see the progress that children are making between and throughout the year in tests is vital for schools that use this form of assessment.
OTrack's Scores, Pupil and Attainment and Progress, for example, shows an average score for a class or year group and the change in score for each pupil.
Being able to see both Summative Assessment and test score on one report would also be useful.16 votes -
Formative Assessment reports
Teachers would like to print reports of formative assessments made each term of the pupils - which objectives they have achieved, etc. using the colours. We used to have a report in Otrack called Depth of Knowledge by Group and Objective Assessment progress

Toggle between pupils and remove columns in Single Pupil Overview
This report would be more useful if we were able to quickly and easily switch to another pupil without re-setting report. It is time consuming currently.
It would also be useful to be able to remove columns - for example if a school isn't using formative assessment - and to have an indication of progress. This would make it much more useful when sharing with parents.17 votes -
Ages data over time
Schools using the Ages Assessment feature would benefit from their Ages data being available within the Single Pupil Overview report as is Summative and Test Scores data. Or the creation of a new Ages Flight Path report where they can see the Ages data over time.

Highlight pupil names in reports
The ability to highlight pupils' names to identify them as (for example) PP, EAL, SEN etc.
This provides a quick and clear way to show how these key groups are distributed across attainment and progress tables. It is particularly effective when used without names for governors' reports.
We have this function in Target Tracker where names can be in bold, underlined or in italics.9 votes -
EYFS Report Improvements
To be able to print the summative report so that all the areas of learning are along the top columns and the children's names are down the first column. This would allow practitioners to track pupils' GLD more easily.
AT the moment only the first five areas are shown on the PDF7 votesMoved to Under Review.
If this idea would be beneficial to your school, please add your vote!

Statutory Analysis
End of Key Stage reports allow schools to see overall numbers and percentages, pupils' names and to view in Summary mode. There is no equivalent report for Phonics or MTC which schools need.
Although the Analysis tab gives headline data, no detail such as pupils names or context can be seen.4 votes -
EYFS GLD Report Improvements
You should be able to drill down and see names included in % on Track or click on the same figure further down the report under Combined Subjects

Alphabetical surnames Reports
Ability to sort by surname not forename in reports. I am so surprised this functionality is not already there. In order of forename is simply not practical in year groups with 90 children. There is not even the workaround to export to excel as it is PDF only.

Single Pupil Overview - phonics
The Statutory Data box on the Single Pupil Overview report shows a pupil's phonics score in a green box if they passed. This is the same even if the pupil did the retake in Y2 which can be a little misleading to the overall picture for that pupil. Please could something be altered here (e.g. a different colour, a little number 2 added) so that schools know whether the score they are seeing is from Y1 or Y2.

Standardised scores, end of Key Stages
The end of Key Stage report shows outcomes and standardised scores in bands. The Key Stage data screen shows outcomes and raw test scores.
We can't see precise standardised scores for pupils anywhere. As schools will use this to compare achievement and measure progress, it is important to know.
Could this be added into Sonar - either in the report or the entry screen?4 votes -
Primary targets should be alphabetical by surname, quick way of calculating percentages and combined at & a 'one stop shop' for key groups

Quadrant
To be able to choose what to regard as 'At'. Schools that use our default code model where Just At and At are treated as At in this report would find it useful to be able to show securely at and above only, either as a comparison or instead of including Just At.
The Venn Report allows the metric to be changed so something similar here would be useful.

End of Reception Outcomes - names
Display Options should include 'names' so that all pupil names can be added to the report for downloading/printing. At the moment, it's only possible to see pupil names by clicking on each individual cell
