  1. We must be able to see percentage of children targeted for 'at' in each class/year group. we expect teachers to set % targets so how can we monitor this?

  2. In OTrack when selecting the School Icon users can then drill down to see names in each of the Contextual Groups in the Pupils Box ie Pupil Premium. Users would like this facility in Sonar.

  5. As this is a point in time tracker, it would be good if judgements carried over to the beginning of the year from the end of the previous year. An expected child remains expected so the code could carry over. I now have all year groups below expectations and teachers would have to re-enter data. This work load could be reduced by bringing grades over as a baseline.

  6. The new analysis tab is great. When you hit print screen it actually prints really well, however for a Trust who may want to print the screen for each school there is no name or log on it so have to physically write on. I know this only a small cosmetic thing but would be really useful.

  7. The end of Key Stage report shows outcomes and standardised scores in bands. The Key Stage data screen shows outcomes and raw test scores.
    We can't see precise standardised scores for pupils anywhere. As schools will use this to compare achievement and measure progress, it is important to know.
    Could this be added into Sonar - either in the report or the entry screen?

  8. School suggestion to have a table report that gives the current term attainment for all subjects.

    It would look similar to the data entry screen, but easier to see everything on one page - plus exportable if required

  9. School suggestion: Good attendance = 90%. Very good attendance = 95%. Being able to view pupils between this margin would be useful e.g. which pupils are sitting at 94.9? Currently the pupil list will populate pupils sitting within the 5% with no information on how close they are to either 90% or 95% unless you view each pupil profile individually.

  10. The ability to see the progress that children are making between and throughout the year in tests is vital for schools that use this form of assessment.
    OTrack's Scores, Pupil and Attainment and Progress, for example, shows an average score for a class or year group and the change in score for each pupil.
    Being able to see both Summative Assessment and test score on one report would also be useful.

  11. A report that can be generated alongside the parent report to send out with statutory data on for individual children.
    It would be useful if the report included their results and national averages for that year.

  14. To be able to print the summative report so that all the areas of learning are along the top columns and the children's names are down the first column. This would allow practitioners to track pupils' GLD more easily.
    AT the moment only the first five areas are shown on the PDF

  16. Ability to sort by surname not forename in reports. I am so surprised this functionality is not already there. In order of forename is simply not practical in year groups with 90 children. There is not even the workaround to export to excel as it is PDF only.

  17. When school creates their own Group they would like to be able to run a report and not only filter for the group as they can currently but to exclude that group from the rest of the children. This can be done in OTrack

  18. To be able to filter pupils based on prior statutory attainment. For example to be able to filter by which children achieved GLD, passed the Phonics check etc.
    It is useful for schools to be able to track these key groups through the school.
    This can only be done currently by making a pupil group which is static and time-consuming to create and manage.

  19. Where schools have test data, such as GL scores, this would be time consuming to add manually to Sonar. It would be far more usable if we could import this from another format such as a spreadsheet.

  20. When a school has alot of mobility they need an easy way to exclude particular children from a report. Sometimes using entry date works well but for children that leave and come back, this is not useful as the original admission date is recorded in Sonar, rather than the restored date.
    In OTRack and TT there is an easy quick way to filter a report and exclude 3/4 pupils (and swap selection is useful here too).
