Enable GTM-compatible form submission tracking within the CMS
We would like the CMS to support Google Tag Manager (GTM) tracking for successful form submissions, either through dataLayer events, success callbacks, identifiable form events, or thank you page tracking.
This functionality is increasingly important for organisations using GA4 and digital advertising platforms to accurately measure website performance and conversions.
Without the ability to track completed enquiries/forms, organisations are unable to:
• Measure true conversion performance across campaigns
• Understand which marketing channels generate meaningful enquiries
• Optimise advertising spend effectively
• Report accurately on ROI and lead generation
• Improve user journeys and website performance using behavioural insights
• Build better audience data for remarketing and future campaigns
Providing a standardised, CMS-supported method of form conversion tracking would significantly improve analytics capability for all clients using the platform, without requiring bespoke development on individual sites.
