When booking a parent's evening appointment, email confirmation should be sent only to the parent making the booking and not to all main contacts.
Schools need to be able to offer both parents (if they both have PR) in a separated family the opportunity to book a parents evening appointment. However, parent one should not be sent details of parent two's booking via email, nor should they be able to see each other's booking if logging in to the portal.
Therefore, it is not suitable to only chose the option for just one contact to be able to book. However, if sending all contacts the option to book currently, separated parents can see details of each others bookings/get an email about the bookings.
This could pose both GDPR and safeguarding concerns
