If MIS sync deletes large amounts of data, send an internal notification
The internal request was to have a notification set up to be sent internally within Juniper in the event of massive data deletion as a result of a Wonde import, so that we can be aware of any potential problems.
I would consider this to be the lowest possible priority; if a serious problem occurs with either the school's MIS or with Wonde it is much more likely that an error would be reported than for invalid data to be sent through. For records to be deleted en-masse we would need to receive a large number of deletion requests from Wonde. The only scenario I can see this happening is if the school has managed to delete all their records from their MIS without either breaking their MIS as a whole or their Wonde integration and left their records deleted overnight, ready for our Wonde sync to run and for us to get incorrect records.
Beyond the unlikeliness of the scenario, the question is raised of how useful the notification would be - the data provided by Wonde isn't something Juniper Websites has control over, and if the school's MIS has had its data wiped it the data sync is likely to be the least of the school's issues. The most utility would be in a case where the school has transitioned MIS systems, which could result in duplicate data if not managed, but in cases like that Juniper does receive advance notification from Wonde about the change.
