I don't think Trusts need to see individual pupil names. Although I have known Trust leaders to ask for this, I've never know it to be a problem when explained why they don't have this. The program shows whole Trust data and trends. It allows Trusts to compare the schools and see what how their pupils are performing, it's not about looking at the individual pupils attainment/progress - that's the job of the school.

We have intentionally designed Sonar Multi-School not to include any pupil names, the Trust solution is looking more at trends so that leaders can interrogate the data to find where they should be focusing support and interventions more broadly, and whether their gaps are closing. It would then be up to the trust to ask schools to look in to their data for specific pupils. It is worth noting that most of the reports you see in Multi-School will be developed in Sonar Tracker at school level in the next round of development so schools will be able to find out the pupil information from there.
